1999 was such a good year for teen movies.
She’s All That, Cruel Intentions, 10 Things I Hate About You, American Pie, Never Been Kissed, The Virgin Suicides. Can you believe all these came out in the same year?! It was probably the last really great year for teen movies.

I did not get into Teach For America.
But it’s OK. I am not depressed. It does feel kind of like a breakup, in that I invested a lot of time into it and counted on it as part of my future, and it didn’t work out. Remember a couple months or so ago I entertained myself with taking quizzes to determine my political orientation? It revealed that I am more or less moderate-to-conservative. Just now I was perusing my old livejournal posts (because I like to hate myself) and in 2005, a similar quiz revealed that I was apparently quite heavily a socialist and was 0% Republican.
